Dedication, long hours of training and commitment to his code has seen Amoho Karetai-Mahanga win the Volleyball title for the second year running at the ASB Sports Awards held at Kensington Stadium on Thursday 24th October. The sports awards gathers the Secondary School Sports alumni to acknowledge the hard work of our sports stars of the future. Amoho was also a finalist for the Te Taitokerau Maori Sports Awards held in Waitanga last term. What next for our sporting hero? Amoho will be trialling for the NZ Mens Indoor Volleyball Team to travel to Asia in 2020. We salute and wish you all the best Amoho.
