SERVICES BUSHCRAFT EXPEDITION

The Services Academy students attended Bush Craft 2019 at Trefoil Park, 10km south of Kaikohe, during week 10 of term 2.  The purpose of Bush Craft was to continue working on areas from Induction Camp, and introduce navigation and leadership skills, working as an effective team.  They were joined by Northland, Kaitaia, Glenfield and St Pauls Colleges. The conditions experienced were some of Northlands most challenging with constant rain and wind which left not one piece of dry clothing or equipment. This however did not dampen their spirits as their infectious positive attitudes rubbed off on the other academies.  It was a successful week with team building and positive connections.
