On Friday, Mr Mills, Mr Davison and Caroline Agent took 32 yr 10 students north. We visited Ruapekapeka, before stopping for shared food at Kawakawa. The students completed a worksheet on the battle site and learnt a lot from the visit there.
We then went on the car ferry over to Russell, up to the flag pole then into town to visit the Church. We then continued into Waitangi for an excellent tour, with the students loving the dress- up costumes from the period to try on. We spent time in Busby house before heading home.
