In Term 2, 7Tui as part of their Science based unit visited the Auckland Zoo on 7th July 2016. Time was spent in the Education room where they questioned and received clarification from zoo staff. After the a few hours in the Education room the class was put into groups and went to explore and enjoy the zoo.
Students came face to face with their researched animals, and for some students this was their first visit to the zoo. A wonderful day and experience.
