The Services Academy “Basic Leaders Course” was run at Whenuapai Airforce Base, 31 May to 4 June 21. Five academy students were chosen for the ability to lead based on their performance at Induction Camp in term 1. The students learnt planning tools to aid in taking charge of a situation/leading various tasks. On the Thursday they were given a scenario on Rangitoto Island to execute the skills they learnt throughout the week. All students conducted themselves in a professional manner and were a credit to themselves and the school. Well done Blake, Sam, Jordan, Taneisha and Calais.
