COFFEE OOH LA LA
A group of year 11-13 students participated in a Barista course, over two days, here at school. This course was run by two talented tutors James and Kowhai, from the Learning Place. Our students learnt about the origins and types of coffee, and of course how to make them. The enthusiasm increased as the day went on – which may or may not have had something to do with the amount of caffeine consumed!
This was a fantastic experience for them, with some valuable skills learnt. We hope to continue growing their barista skills. Well done to all involved.
