Te Putahitanga students from Groups 2 and 3 joined other schools in Northland to compete at the Special Olympics Football. What an amazing effort and sportsmanship from our students.
Also, Mu 2 had a Taster of New Zealand Sign Language. We had visitors come into our classroom and demonstrate how to finger spell our names and the alphabet. We learnt the signs for lots of different items including farm animals and the sign for colours. It was a great experience and we are going to implement some signs into our classroom.
