On Sunday 23rd of March , 7 students , year 12 to 13 were selected to attend the Auckland Youth Summit at the Viaduct Harbour. The Youth Summit is a convention that inspires youth to implement change within our school or community. We discussed amongst 380 students from Auckland schools about the flaws within their community and how to target those specifically to have a positive outcome. As a group we presented our changes and flaws to all of those who attended. One thing we learnt from the presenters of the Youth Summit was that if you’re really passionate about change, there’s always a way to fix it even if it seems impossible.
